Though you may close your eyes
And will me to disappear;
Though you may shut your ears
And will me to be silent;
Though you may turn away
And wish I did not exist;
You must know that we are reflections of one another.
I know this to be true because
You prove it with your words
You prove it with your actions
You prove it in all the ways you are you.
If you don’t believe me look at your reflection
Then you will see the truth
For we have been cast from the same pane of glass;
It is impossible for you to break our connection
For we have known each other far too long
For we have known each other far too intimately, and now
we are reflections of one another.
