Not to Worry

frayedrope

Not to worry she says
her problems are few,
She’s confident her doctor knows what to do
so minor her issue
much worse it could be
The diagnosis after all is not the type with a capital C;

Not to worry she says
her problems are few,
Regarding the divorce she knows what she must do
it’s a common experience
so many each day
She is certain there’ll be no problem in finding her way;

Not to worry she says
her problems are few,
At the funeral she whispers it’s something she’ll get through
such things happen
yes, of course, it’s so sad
But compared to others her problems aren’t so bad;

Not to worry she says
her problems are few,
She’s fine, thanks for asking,
there’s not much anyone can do
It’s what life dishes out and she can’t really complain
‘Cause she knows that others are feeling more pain.

Not to worry she says
her problems are few,
Though she is a bit tired
and may have a touch of the flu
Of course, sleep doesn’t come easy and her neck aches a tad
But I am told not to worry, her problems aren’t all that bad.

    1. You’ve made my day Alice! I really appreciate knowing that you enjoy what you are reading. What is writing, what is photography if we don’t have others to share our visions with? Hope you have a happy, warm weekend.
